Mir Pace International provides worldwide humanitarian relief and development programs,
while fostering cultural understanding and volunteerism through International High School Mission ("IHSM")
programs. Currently, Mir Pace is working in Tamahú, Guatemala and
|
|
Tanzania, East Africa. All proceeds from the Paddle for
Poverty will go directly toward our development initiatives in the countries we serve.
"As long as I live, I will
never forget how the people [of Tamahú] reached out and touched me in a way that no one else could. I will
never be able to explain the actual events of this trip with words, pictures, or human emotions. There are
no words for the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced."
Chris Becker, 2006 April IHSM Volunteer
