Mir Pace International

Empowering teens to change the lives of the poor
and forgotten through long-term community building.

"What truly shocked me and forced me to change my views of the world was seeing the people living in severe poverty, and yet, at the same time, I saw that they still smiled and had hope in their hearts."
                                                       Robert Aspinwall, IHSM volunteer

Smiles and Hope

Volunteering with Mir Pace is an intensive, immersion experience for teenagers and a great way to use high school breaks to travel, learn about another culture, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the poor living in the Verapaz Highlands of Guatemala. You will return home with memories that will last a lifetime and new lifelong friends to share them with!

We invite you to help us build a better world!

Dollies Making A Difference!

Dollies Making A Difference

Dollies Making a Difference, a group of women who gather weekly to sew cloth dolls for children in need of something special, made just for them with compassion and love, made dollies and bears and blankets for us to take to the children of Tamahú during our recent trip in April. These precious gifts brought such joy to our little ones!
