Volunteering with Mir Pace is an intensive, immersion experience for teenagers and a great way to use high school breaks to travel, learn about another culture, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the poor living in the Verapaz Highlands of Guatemala. You will return home with memories that will last a lifetime and new lifelong friends to share them with!

Malnutrition Center for Infants and Children The chronic malnutrition rate for children in Tamahú, Guatemala is higher than in some parts of sub-Saharan Africa. We are grateful for the many sacrifices our leaders, volunteers, and their families made, and we applaud each one of them for their cooperation, determined efforts, and unremitting exuberance.
